The Network of People Living With HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (NEPWHAN) is the national umbrella body that coordinates and administrators all support groups, constituencies, association and organizations of persons living with HIV/AIDS IN Nigeria.
NEPWHAN was formed in 1998 and it has a support group membership of 520 which cut across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Over the last 10 years of its existence, the organization has grown in size and complexity and this growing trend is still ongoing. It is in view of the increasing pressure of work that NEPWHAN is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the following positions:

PROJECT MANAGER
Key Qualifications:
• Relevant Bachelor’s in social sciences and humanities.
• Possession of postgraduate degree such as in public health and social sciences added is an advantage.
• High knowledge, experience and expertise in the development, management and monitoring of HIV and AIDS programmes and projects.
• Five to ten years relevant work experience with Civil Society Organization and Network.
• High knowledge, technical soundness, experience and expertise in HIV/AIDS treatment and care.
• Excellent contextual, analytical, writing oral communication skills.
• Facilitation, mentoring, problem solving, monitoring, forward planning, networking and partnership development skills.
• Computer literacy skill, especially the use of Word Processing, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Data collection, analysis and management using mix of methodologies
• Proposals and report writing, training materials including curriculum and manuals development skills.
ACCOUNT OFFICER
Key Qualifications:
• University Degree in Accounting or equivalent certificate
• Experience as an Accountant of understanding of key aspects of accounting, experience with US government project will be helpful
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially spreadsheet or comparable software
• Ability to use basic accounting software (i.e. Quick Books and Tally)
• Demonstrate good judgment and sound financial “common sense”
• Ability to create, monitor budgets, Understanding of basic tenets of Cash Control, Assets Management and Bank Reconciliation
• Understands the principle of adequate documentation and performance necessary to ensure audit compliance
• Willingness to travel (30%) within Nigeria Regularly as required.
PROJECT OFFICER
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in social sciences or a related discipline
• Ability to work as a member of a team, and contribute to developing a new project in a dynamic environment
• 3 years of experience in humanitarian, NGO’s/ Civil Society work or an institutional donor organization is preferable
• Proven programmatic, technical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated Computer skills in MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria and potentially outside Nigeria as required.
DRIVER
Specific Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up to date records relating to individual vehicles use, Purchase fuel from commercial gas stations, reviews and verifies the accuracy of cash memos and submits them to the finance for payment
• Ensure all aspects of vehicles policy are being followed and enforced
Key Qualifications:
• License Class E and demonstrate expensive in major regions of Nigeria
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience with NGO’s or corporate organizations in Nigeria
• Read, speak and write fluent English and good computer skills
• West African School Certificate or Equivalent and Reference/ Guarantor
• Experience as a qualified mechanics desired but not required
